JOM SAHUR!

Assalamualaikum

Selamat berpuasa semua!

AS-SAHOOR (The Pre-dawn meal of Ramadhaan)

The Wisdom of Sahoor

Allah (T) made fasting obligatory upon us as He (T) had made it obligatory on the people ot the Book before us. He (T) said , (which means):

{O you who believe Fasting is prescribed upon you as it was prescribed upon those before you so that perhaps you may attain Taqwaa.} [Al-Baqarah 2 : 183]

In the first period of Islam, the duration and regulations of fasting were in accordance with what was legislated by Allah upon the People of the Book. They were not allowed to eat, drink or engage in sexual intercourse after they slept. That is once one sleeps, he could not eat nor do any of the above until the night of the following day, this implied that they took no Sahoor (Pre-dawn meal).

However, when the above ruling was abrogated, the Messenger (S) commanded the Muslims to take the Sahoor (Pre-dawn meal) as a means of being different in our fasting from the fasting of the People of the Book. ‘Amr Ibn al-Aas reported that the Messenger of Allah (S) said: “The distinguishing feature between our fast and the fast of the People of the Book is in the eating at the time just before dawn.” [Muslim]

The Sahoor is Barakah (blessed)

Salmaan (R) said that the Messenger of Allah (S) said: Blessings are found in three things, the Group (Al-Jama’ah), Ath-thareed (a type of food) and As-Sahoor (the Pre-dawn meal).” [At-Tabaraanee, Abu Na'eem]
Abu Hurairah (R) said that the Messenger (S) of Allah (T) said:

Verily Allah placed Barakah (blessing) in the Sahoor (pre-dawn meal) and in perfect measurement (weighing).“[Ash-Shairazee]

‘Abdullah Ibn Haarith said that one of the Sahabah (companion) said:

‘I entered the house of the Messenger (S) whilst he was taking the Sahoor (pre-dawn meal), and he (S) said: “Indeed it (the Sahoor) is blessing that Allah has given to you so do not leave it out.” [An-Nasaaee and Ahmad]

The reality that there are great blessings in the Sahoor (Pre-dawn meal) is very apparent because there is in it:
-the following of the Sunnah,
-it makes the fast easier upon the person who is fasting,
-it increases the desire in the person to want to continue to fast because of the ease upon the
fasting person and
-there is also in it the principle of being different from the People of the Book because they are
prohibited from taking the Sahoor (pre-dawn meal).

For this reason the Messenger of Allah (Subhanahuwatala) called it the blessed meal.

Allah (SWT) and the Angels send Salaah upon the people who take the Sahoor (pre-dawn meal)

The greatest blessing of the Sahoor (pre-dawn meal) may be that Allah (SWT) engulfs those who partake in it with His Forgiveness, showers His Mercy on them, while His angels ask of Him to forgive and pardon them.

Abu Sa’eed al-Khudree said that the Messenger (S) said: “Eating the Sahoor is blessed. Do not neglect it even if you take a gulp of water, because Allah and His angels invoke blessings upon those who partake in the pre-dawn meal.” [Ahmad]

It is very important that the Muslim does not allow this great blessing from his Merciful Lord to escape him.

What is the best thing the Muslim can eat for SahoorThe Messenger (S) said: “The best Sahoor for the believer is dates.” [Abu Dawood, Al-Baihaqee and Ibn Hibbaan]

Note: If one does not find food to eat then a gulp of water would suffice as is substantiated in the hadeeth.

Delaying the Sahoor

It is recommended to delay the Sahoor (pre-dawn meal) till just before dawn. Zaid ibn Thaabit said: “We ate the Sahoor with the Messenger (S), then we got up to offer the Salaah (prayer – in this case the Fajr prayer). I asked “What was the time between the Adhaan (call to prayer) and the Sahoor?” He said: “(The time it would take) to recite fifty verses.” [Bukhaaree and Muslim]
It must be known that it is allowed to eat, drink and have sexual relationship with one’s spouse as long as one doubts and is uncertain that the dawn has started. Allah (T) and His Messenger (S) have made clear the criterion for establishing the Fajr, and this is what one is required to go by.

The Ruling for Sahoor

The Messenger of Allah (S) commanded that whoever wants to fast must take the Sahoor (pre-dawn meal). He (S) said: “Whoever wishes to fast, then let him eat something for Sahoor.” [Ibn Abi Shaibah, Ahmad and others]

And he (S) also said:
Take the Sahoor because in the Sahoor is Barakah (blessings).”[Bukhaaree and Muslim]

Then he (S) also prohibited the Muslims from neglecting it. He (S) said:
What differentiates our fast from the fast of the People of the Book is the Sahoor meal.” [Ibn Abi Shaibah, Ahmad]

It is clear that the Messenger (S) emphatically commands us to eat the Sahoor from three different angles:
(a) He (S) ordered it.
(b) It is one of the highlight of the Muslim’s fast and it distinguishes the fast of the Muslim from the fast of others.
(c) He prohibited us from neglecting it.
All three of the above inferences are very strong and they all seem to be pointing to one specific thing.

SELAMAT BERPUASA DAN MENUNAIKAN SOLAT TARAWIH (^_^)

Kuasa Minda Muslim Super

Asslamualaikum w.b.t

Apa khabar semua? Sihat x hari ni? hihi...rajin bebenor pulak Insyirah Sensei ni bertanya khabar ye.. hikhik

KUASA MINDA MUSLIM SUPER.

Kalau nak tahu, ceramah motivasi ni memang bessssttttt sesangat! Tapi, program ni terbuka kpd semua pljr sbnrnya.

Ni le penceramahnya...

gambar ni diambil drpd blog beliau.

X sempat nk ambik gmbar dia pun masa motivasi tu..

Nak tau x kenapa saya x sempat nk ambik gmbr dia? Sebabnye saya begitu khusyuk menghayati apa yg disampaikan. TAPI, penceramah ni ada style dia yg tersendiri nk wat org nangis....huhu. memang menangis segala la student2 especially yg pompuan. tup2...surprise! mmg xduga la surprise yg dia wat kat kitorang. menyesal je nangis tadi...hahahaha. tapi, xleh la bgtau kat sini apa yg dia wat kat kitorang. nnti xsuspen ar klau dia nnti g ceramah kat universiti2 lain nnti.. (^_^)

Baiklah, persoalan yg pertama.

Bila duk bljr lagi ni, jgn duk main cintan cintun. Nama nya pun CINTA MONYET. Jadi, pasai apa nak bercinta? sedar x yg hang tu bercinta dgn MONYET? Hahahaha...

Ish, x nak la bercinta dgn monyet..kuikui

Jadi, renung-renungkan..

Sure xnyesal punya. Lagi pun, suara Ustaz ni best! Dia siap nyanyi lagi beberapa lagu. ada lagu yg dia ubah sendiri. Memang lain dari yg lain la motivasi kendalian beliau.

Insyirah Sensei bagi 5 bintang (5 star) kat ceramah motivasi dia.

Selamat malam.
Good night.
Oyasuminasai.
Lailan saeda.
Wan an.

4. Masukkan 1 cawan adunan bahan A dan kukus selama 5 minit atau hingga masak.

6. Ulang A dan B 10minit atau hingga masak berselang seli hingga habis.
7. Sejukkan dan terbalikkan ke dalam pinggan hidangan. Potong dan hidang.
*Sedap di makan selepas beberapa jam di dlm fridge
Tara! Ni la hasilnya....
Ni gambar first time wat puding ni...
Walaupun x secantik tuan punya resepi tapi menjadi la lapisan2 tu..berlapis2..hihi
Pastu, bnyk kali la wat lepas tu...
Gambar2 kat atas ni, puding yg sy wat tu 2 adunan...maksudnya 2 kali ganda bahan2 resepi di atas. Kali ni x wat dlm loyang....sbb nk bagi nmpak cantik, sy masukkan dll mangkuk Pyrex.
Ha....barula nampak lapisan2 tu....Comel kan? hikhik....
Yg ni sy wat time birthday saya..Siap hias ngn chocolate rice warna warni lg kat atas puding tu.
Selain drpd puding caramel lapis coklat, try jgk wat Rainbow Marble Pudding
Ni sy wat time birthday anak sepupuku yg cute itu...
Umur dia cukup 3 tahun, so sbb tu hias ngn coklat cips design bentuk '3' tu..(^_^)
Yg nmpak berkilat kt lapisan atas tu sbb sy tambah crystal jelly kat permukaan pudding tu..
So, nmpk la cam berkilat n mnarik skit..
Tapi pudding yg sy wat ni terlebih manis..So, xyah la tulis resepi dia kt sini..sy kena try wat n ubah skit resepi yg saya ada. bila nk wat tu x tau la lg..
Selamat mencuba! Ha..dh nk dekat bulan puasa ni. So, boleh la wat puding caramel lapis coklat tu utk dimakan lps tarawih..Sejuk2 lps letak dlm fridge sure best..
Haih, malam esok x sabar nye nk tgk Imam Muda grand finale. Agak2 sape yg menang ek?
Imam Muda Asyraf ke, Imam Muda Hizbur? Dua-dua ada kehebatan yg tersendiri.
Tapi, between 2 org ni, I vote for Imam Muda Asyraf!
Semoga berjaya!
Sebelum ni, sy minat sgt2 kat Imam Muda Aran n Imam Muda Azhar. Tapi, nasib x menyebelahi mereka. Apa2 pun semua 10 Imam Muda memang terbaik!

Jadilah Seperti PENSEL

ADVICE FROM UKM MEDICAL DOCTOR

Little did you know ...... after reading THIS, you'll NEVER look at petai in the same way again!

Petai contains three natural sugars -sucrose, fructose and glucose. Combined with fiber, petai gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proved that just two servings of petai provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute wor kout.. No wonder petai is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes. But energy isn't the only way petai can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

Depression:

According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND among people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating petai. This is because petai contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.

PMS(premenstrual syndrome):

Forget the pills - eat petai. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.

Anaemia:

High in iron, petai can stimulate the production of haemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anaemia.

Blood Pressure:

This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it perfect to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the petai industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.

Brain Power :

200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by eating petai at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.

Understand that bananas contain lot of potassium too so eat more banana. Just look at those monkeys, they are really active, alert, smart and cunny too!!

Constipation:

High in fiber, including petai in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.

Hangovers:

One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a petai milkshake, sweetened with honey. The petai calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system.

Heartburn:

Petai has a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating petai for soothing relief.

Morning Sickness :

Snacking on petai between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.

Mosquito bites :

Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of the petai skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.

Nerves:

Petai is high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.

Overweight:

Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and crisps. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report c oncluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady.

Ulcers:

Petai is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.

Temperature control :

Many other cultures see petai as a "cooling" fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In hoiland, for example, pregnant women eat petai to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature.

Seasonal Affecti ve Disorder (SAD) :

Petai can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer, tryptophan.

Smoking:

Petai can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.

Stress:

Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium petai snack.

Strokes:

According to research in "The New Engla nd Journal of Medicine, " eating petai as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%".

Warts:

Those keen on natural alternatives swear that if you want to kill off a wart, take a piece of petai and place it on the wart. Carefully hold the petai in place with a plaster or surgical tape!

So, as you can see, petai really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrates, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals... It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around. So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, "A Petai a day keeps the doctor away".

I hope you enjoy reading this article which I took from : Buletin Pengguna Islam, Persatuan Pengguna Islam Malaysia, http://www.muslimconsumer.org.my/

MaJiDe

Assalamualaikum

Good morning!
Ohayou gozaimasu!
Zaoan!
sabah al khaiyr!

How wonderful is it to wake up to the soothing song of rainfall?

Here, the rain falls in the early morning...

Actually this entry just sharing the roaming of my mind.

Throughout this first 2 weeks of the semester, so many things happened.

What I'm regret the most was I can't take Mandarin Communication Level 3 Course. Kanashii ne.. T_T

I have to drop the course since there are only 3 students who registered the course. In UPSI, the class should be close if the number of students registered is less than 10.

Since this is my last semester in UPSI (before practikum), I won't let the time goes by without learning someting new. So, in order to build new brain cells and activate my neurons (cewah ayat bIO tu ^_^'') I add Arabic Communication Level 1 Course.

Actually I don't have any basic knowledge in Arabic language. I've never learn about it during my school days. What I know is only the parts of body in Arabic which I learned during kindergarten..hihi.

Dakara, minna san, ganbarimashou!!!!

Muwaffaq insha Allah
